The Party document, signed and issued by PCV Secretary General To Lam, addresses “Various innovative solutions to strengthen the protection, care, and improvement of people’s health.”
The resolution, according to the government’s online newspaper, focuses on the role of private healthcare as a key driver and creates favorable conditions for this sector to invest and expand, thus contributing to reducing the burden on public health and improving the quality of healthcare for the population.
In this regard, the president of the Vietnam Private Hospitals Association, Nguyen Van De, emphasized that this represents “a new breath of life,” awakening motivation, determination, and enthusiasm to confidently dedicate themselves to the cause of caring for, protecting, and improving people’s health.
The member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Administrative Procedure Reform also considered this a golden opportunity to overcome significant obstacles, from territorial and financial limitations to legal barriers, in order to develop strongly.
In a statement to the publication, Van De considered that promoting the development of large-scale private hospitals with specialized techniques that meet national and international standards is a strategic direction.
He also noted that fostering such institutions will contribute to improving the quality of national services, promote the image of Vietnamese healthcare internationally, generate significant foreign exchange earnings, and motivate the private healthcare community to invest more.
