Prensa Latina’s correspondent in China, Isaura Diez Millan, won in the Best Report category with the article “Changes from Tibet, the Difference that Unites Us.”
Granma newspaper, the official organ of Cuba’s Communist Party (PCC), won in the Best Innovation category with its “Navigation Diaries” section.
Organizers stated that 5,000 submissions from 110 countries were submitted to this edition.
This award was included in the Multilateral Cooperation Results List of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
These awards include four categories: Best Report, Best Photography, Best Video, and Best Innovation.
The results were announced at the 2025 Media Cooperation Forum on the Belt and Road, which is taking place in the city of Kunming until September 17, with the participation of 500 representatives from 87 countries and Sino regions.
The event is co-sponsored by People’s Daily, the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government, under the theme “Shared Media Responsibilities for Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations.”
