“The harvest is entering its final stage: three-quarters of the grain and legume areas have already been harvested. To date, we have 119 million tons of grain, of which about 86 million are wheat. The average yield and grain quality exceed those of last year,” she said.
Despite adverse weather conditions in some regions, Lut confirmed that the forecast of 135 million tons of grain for the end of the year remains in place, of which about 90 million will be wheat, sufficient to cover domestic demand and sustain a solid export potential.
Last August, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev stated that the country maintains its grain production forecast for 2025 at 135 million tons, highlighting that both the harvest and volume exceeded the previous year’s results.
