Aguilera told Prensa Latina, “This is a market we have been working on for many years, and where Cuba represents a preferred destination for Argentine tourists. For us, Argentina is the largest source of visitors from all of South America to the island. In other words, there has been a long-standing integration.”
This is the 29th edition of the Buenos Aires International Tourism Fair, FIT 2025, and Cuba has showcased its attractions in every event; in other words, we have been working on it since it began, he noted.

This fair began on Saturday at La Rural fairgrounds with the participation of more than 1,700 exhibitors from Argentina and some 60 other countries.
In one of the most significant events in Latin America, “we meet with former tour operators and new ones and we show them an enriched portfolio of products with the latest developments generated by Cuban tourism,” the tourism advisor said.

A delegation of 10 tourism executives, led by Pilar Alvarez, Director General of Marketing at the Tourism Ministry (MINTUR), traveled to Buenos Aires in an effort to promote the island’s tourism destinations and products, engage in negotiations, and reach agreements with their counterparts from Argentina and other countries attending the event.
The delegation includes executives from the Cubatur, Cubanacan, Ecotur, and Viajes Cuba travel agencies; the Cubanacan, Gran Caribe, and IslaAzul hotel chains; the Barcelo Arenas Blanca Hotel in Varadero; and the Cubex group.
