According to the official source, the civil aviation authorities of both countries will operate according to the winter season schedule, subject to the commercial decision of the designated airlines and compliance with all operational criteria.
The source explained that since the beginning of this year, as part of the government’s focus on the gradual normalization of relations between India and China, the civil aviation authorities of both countries have held technical discussions on the resumption of direct air services and the review of the agreement in this area.
The Indian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the aforementioned agreement will further facilitate people-to-people contact between India and China and contribute to the gradual normalization of bilateral exchanges.
