Havana residents and participants in the 3rd International Meeting of Left-Wing Publications condemn, in front of the equestrian statue of Liberator Simon Bolivar, located on Avenida de los Presidentes, the imperial harassment and the threat of war to which the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is subjected, according to the call.

Through official statements and interventions in several forums and platforms, Cuban authorities have expressed their rejection of the “growing threats looming over Venezuela” from US territory.

The Venezuelan Embassy in Havana asserted on Tuesday that the United States’ Government is maintaining economic, media, and political aggression against the South American country to destabilize the constitutional order and seize its resources.

It also refuted accusations of alleged government involvement in drug trafficking and reaffirmed the Bolivarian Revolution’s desire for peace.
