According to diplomatic sources cited by the agency, the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Qatar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan will attend the meeting, where they will discuss the latest developments related to the ceasefire and the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian enclave.
Fidan is expected to denounce Israel’s attempts to fabricate pretexts for violating the ceasefire and stress the need for the international community to adopt a firm stance against its provocative actions.
The Turkish Minister will also highlight the importance of coordinated action among Islamic countries to ensure that the ceasefire leads to lasting peace.
According to sources, Fidan will insist that the sustained and adequate delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza is both a humanitarian and legal imperative, and will call for increased international pressure on Israel.
The meeting will also address the importance of maintaining close consultations and coordination among participating countries regarding measures taken within the framework of the United Nations.
