The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that, for more than seven decades, Caracas and Cairo built “harmonious and uninterrupted friendship ties” in which both nations established a mutually beneficial scheme of cooperation.

The text indicated that these mechanisms will make it possible to “promote exchanges and exploit shared potential in different areas”.
Venezuela and Egypt share a position of unrenounceable principles on the global stage in defense of the just causes of humanity, the rules of international law and the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, he stressed.

The statement states that inspired by “the vision of great leaders such as Gamal Abdel Nasser, Liberator Simon Bolivar and Eternal Commader Hugo Chavez, who always emphasized the strategic role of Africa in the new world order, we will continue to advance a joint agenda that consolidates a more just, multicenter and pluripolar” world.
