Among the books on display at this literary event are works from Ediciones Cubanas and other publishing houses, such as those by Eliseo Diego, Virgilio Pinera, and Herminio Almendros, as well as poetry books and works on Afro-Cuban themes.

“We are bringing a diverse selection so that our writers can be recognized and positioned internationally,” Cetmilena Denny, e-commerce manager of the Soy Cubano agency, part of the Artex Artistic and Literary Promotions company, told Prensa Latina.

Elio Castro, director of the Artex Matanzas branch, explained that the significant presence of Cuban music is due to the fact that the Bis Music record label also belongs to the company.

Among the records offered are those of Omara Portuondo, Sindo Garay, Elito Reve, Maria Victoria, Barbarito Diez, to name just a few.
