Panamanian social organizations pay tribute to Fidel Castro

Panama City, Nov 25 (Prensa Latina) The Panama Front for the Defense of Economic and Social Rights (Frenadeso) paid tribute today on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the death of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro (1926-2016).

The group published videos on their social networks referring to the date and the work of the solidarity movement with the island, whose people face with resistance and dignity the blockade imposed by the United States for more than six decades ago, they highlighted.

Other groups such as the Broad Front for Democracy (FAD), the National Solidarity Coordination and the Asociación Martiana de Cubanos Residentes en Panama also sent messages highlighting the validity of Fidel’s work and thought.

The Cuban embassy in Panama will also open a photographic exhibition on the imprint of this distinguished statesman.
