According to the text, the implementation of Russia’s national policy for 2012-2025 has ensured political and social stability, as well as strengthened national unity.
“The current situation of interethnic relations in the Russian Federation is characterized by stability,” the decree states.
The document further states that the implementation of the national policy until 2036 should reduce the number of conflicts based on national identity and that at least 90 percent of Russians should experience the absence of discrimination based on national identity and language by that year.
The outcome of implementing this policy should be the cohesion of the Russian nation. Video hosting services, messaging applications, and blogs will be used to promote traditional values, the order states.
The national policy strategy is intended to facilitate the formation of an objective perception of Russia abroad as a state governed by the rule of law, the document emphasizes.
It also entails combating manifestations of neo-Nazism, Russophobia, racism, and xenophobia.
