The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned, in a statement, the continued incursions by Israeli security forces and settlers.
The diplomatic institution also expressed concern about the unprecedented increase in the number of citizens who have suffered permanent disabilities due to the aggression against Gaza Strip and the violations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, over the last two years.
It stated that bombings and the use of explosive weapons with wide-range effects, in addition to direct sniper fires against civilians, have turned treatable injuries into permanent disabilities.
The Ministry referred to a World Health Organization (WHO) report, published in September 2025, which states that some 42,000 people in the coastal enclave suffer serious injuries requiring long-term rehabilitation.
These injuries include amputations, spinal cord and brain injuries, severe trauma, and permanent loss of motor or sensory functions.
The Ministry criticized the siege, the closure of border crossings, and the ban on the entry of medicines, equipment, and fuel, which, it asserted, exacerbated the injuries.
