According to official sources, the initiative aims to strengthen national services through training programs and culturally relevant practices.
The document was signed by the CCAMH’s director and consulting child psychiatrist, J. Bhoomikumar, and the Indian ambassador, Vanlalvawna Bawitlung, in the presence of high-ranking government officials.
According to the diplomatic mission, the project will provide additional capacity to specialists working with children and adolescents in the justice and education systems.
The health center, an institution created through cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Caritas, will serve as the main partner in the initiative.
Ambassador Bawitlung emphasized that the program will integrate practices specific to the Cambodian context, including Vipassana meditation, and will support the expansion of inclusive services for vulnerable youth.
