French President Emmanuel Macron paid a state visit from December 3 to 5, during which he held several meetings with his host, Xi Jinping.
His agenda focused on improving trade relations and addressing international issues such as the situations in Ukraine and Gaza Strip.
During the visit, the two countries issued several joint declarations on global governance, climate and environmental cooperation, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, agricultural and food exchange, and the situations in Ukraine and Palestine.
At the Great Hall of the People, the leaders witnessed the signing of agreements in areas such as nuclear energy, agriculture, education, and the environment.
Xi Jinping stated that China and France are “independent, visionary, and responsible powers” that must work together to promote a multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization.
