All those infected belong to the same family from San Javier, Rio Negro Department, who recently traveled to Bolivia.
The Ministry is investigating five other suspected cases in the rural area of the same town.
Two days ago, the MSP warned that approximately 20,000 children in the country have not yet completed their measles vaccination schedule.
Minister Cristina Lustemberg stated that this gap is concerning given the highly contagious but preventable nature of the disease, which requires two doses.
She urged families to get up to date on their vaccinations as soon as possible. Earlier, the minister called for special attention to be paid to children between 12 and 15 months old, the age group where much of the vaccination backlog is concentrated.
She emphasized that vaccination “is free and accessible” at all health centers and vaccination clinics throughout the country.
The minister urged those born after 1967 to get vaccinated if they are unsure whether they have received both doses in the country.
Children receive the first dose at one year of age, and the second starting at 15 months.
