“Cuba maintains an active and responsible fight against drug trafficking and the illegal use of narcotics, with a government strategy that attacks this problem comprehensively,” the minister affirmed.
In a message on X, Rodriguez also noted that the Caribbean nation “has signed various bilateral intergovernmental agreements, with the firm determination to fulfill them, along with its commitments under multilateral instruments.”
“These agreements and instruments include cooperation with countries in the region, including the United States,” he emphasized.
“It is regrettable that this country, the main source of drugs to ours, has decided to put a stop to and obstruct this cooperation and bilateral exchanges on the matter,” declared the head of Cuban diplomacy.
