The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that soldiers this morning fired on a car with three people inside near the Awarta checkpoint, close to the northern city of Nablus.
One of the occupants was hit by bullets, and the other two suffered bruises after the vehicle overturned, the organization said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the military carried out numerous raids in West Bank towns and cities, resulting in numerous arrests.
The official news agency Wafa reported that soldiers arrested seven Palestinians in the villages of Deir al-Ghusun, Baqa al-Sharqiya, and Qaffin, located in Tulkarm Governorate.
Five more persons were captured in towns in Qalqiyya Governorate and 22 in the villages of Dura and Al-Tabaqa, as well as in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp in the Hebron territory.
According to official figures, more than 12,000 Palestinians have been arrested by Israeli security forces in the West Bank since the outbreak of the current cycle of violence on October 7, 2023.
