Zaldivar made these remarks during a courtesy visit to Cambodian Minister of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Hem Vanndy, to whom she also expressed the possibility of collaborating with the National Council of Science, Technology, and Innovation (NCSTI) of this country.

Vanndy emphasized at the meeting the significance of fostering institutional exchange and collaboration between researchers from both nations as an essential link for mutual growth, the development of projects that boost technology transfer, and the strengthening of bilateral ties.

Both parties also highlighted the development of science, technology, and innovation as pillars of their respective countries’ national development and expressed their willingness to implement joint initiatives that also include the agricultural processing, biotechnology, and value chain industries.
