The recognition, given by the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), responds to the careful care of Covid-19 patients, and the protocol provided to 1,380 children and more than 240 pregnant women.
Dr. Jorge Eduardo Berrio expressed his gratitude on behalf of all the workers of the center for receiving this distinction, awarded by the largest mass organization in the country, as part of events on the 61st anniversary of the organization, founded.
Berrio also signified the gesture and trust of the Cuban people for the work of this hospital, and reaffirmed the collective’s commitment to continue the tireless fight against the pandemic.
The Manuel Fajardo Hospital also excels in scientific research around this ailment and in attending and solving very complicated contagion events.
The recognition was granted here on Friday by CDR National Deputy Coordinator Vladimir Sauris, who praised the merits of this famous hospital.
