On a message on Twitter, the head of State explained that the sector of Gran Caracas, composed by urban centers of the Capital District, Miranda and La Guaira, reported a rate of 90 active Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
In contrast, the rest of the Venezuelan territory shows a more favorable health situation, with an average of 24 contagions per 100,000 inhabitants, the President indicated.
The Venezuelan government plans to extend the relaxation of restrictive measures during November and December on the occasion of the New Year’s festivities, although in the capital, this decision is subject to a decrease in transmission rates.
