Mandatory on-site classes in São Paulo

Brasilia, Oct 13 (Prensa Latina) On-site classes will once again be compulsory throughout the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo as of next Monday, the State Secretariat of Education confirmed today.

The measure will apply to public and charter schools (between public and private schools), and the return to one hundred percent on-site teaching in the municipal school network depends on the decision of the mayors.

The measure is expected to be confirmed this Wednesday by the São Paulo Secretary of Education, Rossieli Soares, during a press conference at the Bandeirantes Palace, headquarters of the state administration.

According to the secretary, the distance among seats must be maintained until the beginning of November. After that, it will no longer be mandatory.
