New government to be created in Sudan

Khartoum, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) The media published today the statement made by a former minister of the deposed transitional government in which he says that negotiations are underway for structuring a new team.

At the end of last October, a military movement, with the approval of the president of the Sovereign Transitional Council (CST), General Abdel Fattah el Hamdun, ended up in the dissolution of the government of Prime Minister Abdallah Hamduk, who was released after being held for 48 hours.

The military coup triggered popular protests, called by political and professional organizations, in favor and against, which left a dozen dead and almost a hundred wounded.

“We are on the right path towards general stability in the country (?) there are negotiations to restructure the CST, the judicial system and to appoint a Prime Minister, assured to the press the former Minister of Finance Gibril Ibrahim, clearly a supporter of the military movement that deposed Hamduk.

The former minister’s statements are evidence that General Hamdun remains indifferent to the demands of the UN, the African Union and the European Union for the reinstatement of former Prime Minister Hamduk and his team.
