Canberra, Dec 28 (Prensa Latina) The Southern Cross Brigade, from Australia, informed that it will travel to Cuba for the 38th time, after two years of interruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 15 members of the solidarity with Cuba movement will fly over here on December 29 and will return home on January 17, 2023, after a stay that will allow them to delve into this country’s political, economic and social reality and learn about its history a bit more.

Local media reported that the brigade will have an busy agenda coordinated by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), which includes a meeting with members of the Korimakao sociocultural project and scientists who developed the homegrown Covid-19 vaccines. They will also visit the Fidel Castro Ruz Center and the Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex, as well as several universities and healthcare centers.
