Bahamians demand an end to the US blockade against Cuba

20221127_103523
Nassau, Mar 27 (Prensa Latina) Cubans residing in the Bahamas and friends of Cuba led a caravan in rejection to the United States blockade against Cuba and in support to the elections in Cuba.

The Cuban Embassy in Nassau announced in a tweet the new expressions of solidarity with Havana and against the US blockade.

The participants carried posters that read, in Spanish and English, ‘Eliminate the blockade’, ‘I vote for everyone’, ‘Love is paid with love’, among others.

More than eight million Cubans were summoned to the polls this Sunday to elect 470 deputies to the National Assembly of the Peoples Power.

Those elected will have the responsibility of voting for the President and Vice President of the Republic and continue with legislative developments according to the Constitution.
