San José, Jun 30 (Prensa Latina) A historical-cultural ceremony in this capital on Friday, will be the reminder of the 130th anniversary of the first arrival of Cuban independence hero José Martí (1853-1895) in Costa Rica.

The program includes a master lecture entitled “The Golden Age, from Martí to Joaquín García Mongue,” by Nuria Rodríguez, master in Latin American Studies and professor at the National University of Costa Rica.

Rodríguez will talk about the compilation of García Mongue’s works in 1920, using Martí’s magazine for children and adolescents as a background for her selection of Latin American and universal texts of several genres and themes.
