He stated that his Government had to urgently face the tasks of combating the Covid-19 pandemic and achieving political and economic stability with growth, public investment and industrialization projects, among other actions.

“Such elements have shaped the priority of the Bolivian Executive in the last two years, which can be summarized as the economic and productive reconstruction of the country, with the adoption of austerity measures,” he said.

“We proudly affirm that our economy is reactivated favorably and at firm steps, thanks to the fruit of the hard work of all Bolivians,” the ambassador added.

He also spoke about the consolidation of the path towards security by guaranteeing food sovereignty and raw materials for industrialization, in addition to the creation of better living and employment conditions.

He stressed that Bolivia became the first lithium reserve in the world, and the Government intends to guarantee an accelerated investment of three billion dollars into the most advanced technology for extracting the mineral over the news few years.

“These are times of commemoration and celebration, but, above all, of commitment to the Bolivian people, to the democratic and cultural revolution, living well, which is our way of deepening democracy, social justice, peace and the search for development and progress”, the Bolivian diplomat stressed.
