Universities of Cuba and Belarus extend scientific ties

Camaguey, Cuba, Nov 20 (Prensa Latina) The University of Camaguey continues to expand its international ties, as shown on Monday by the signing of a new Framework Cooperation Agreement with a Belarussian counterpart.

For the house of high studies of Camaguey, this new deal with its peer Yanka Kupala of Grodno is the result of the international cooperation agenda, which led it on October to open the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Studies in Hebei, China.

On Facebook, the institution posted, “the agreement will boost, among other issues, cooperation in educational and scientific activities.”

The press release added that the link is a clear sign of the “use of advanced experience and the introduction of scientific advances in education, establishment of academic and cultural relations.”

Iryna Kiturka, rector of the foreign institution, expressed that “they are very happy to establish these relations that will contribute to the development of both centers and countries.”

In addition to having graduated thousands of students from over 15 countries, the projection of the first university founded by the Cuban Revolution is to progress with signatures and collaborations with centers of its kind, which include institutions in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
