The President of the Sub-Commission of Productive Economy Jose Gregorio Vielma presented the budget item to parliamentarians, once Executive Vice-President Delcy Rodriguez argued the economic and financial exercise for the upcoming year.

Vielma pointed out this Special Law is aimed at strengthening national economy and prioritizing social investment, which grows by 3% compared to last year and now accounts for 77.4 % of the total amount allocated.

The authority valued that the budget seeks, among other reasons, to soar social allocations, stabilize the exchange rate, stop inflation, besides creating an investment policy in the monetary, commercial and fiscal areas.
