Ethiopian-Russian business forum promotes investment opportunities

Addis Ababa, February 6 (Prensa Latina) An Ethiopian-Russian business forum held in Moscow with the participation of companies from Ethiopia and Russia focused on presentations to promote investment, trade and tourism opportunities, local press reported.

The event was held on Monday in cooperation between trade and sector associations of Ethiopia, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries and the Addis Ababa embassy in the Russian Federation, said the Fana Broadcasting Corporate state television station.

The forum was attended by more than 100 Russian and 30 Ethiopian companies, as well as representatives of the Investment Commission, Trade and Sector Associations and authorities of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agenda included business-to-business and business-to-government discussions.
