That failure is unprecedented and affects what remains of the credibility of United Nations institutions and global legitimacy, the Foreign Ministry assured in a statement.

The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs stressed that it further “reveals the falsehood of the countries’ positions that claim to be concerned about the principles of human and international rights.”

Moreover, it pointed out that such a trend confirms the uselessness of mechanisms of action and of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Ministry accused Israel of both committing mass massacres in the Gaza Strip and indiscriminately attacking homes and medical facilities, while deepening the humanitarian catastrophe and famine there.

The Israeli Army continues to transform the Strip into an area completely destroyed and unsustainable for human life, it stressed.

Likewise, the Ministry warned of plans to forcibly displace the population outside the territory.
