According to the information, published by the ministry on Sunday, the launchers were hit by an Iskander missile.

The Patriot crews were moving along a road near the town of Pokrovsk, when they were detected and attacked by the Russian Armed Forces.

Western mercenaries serving in the crews were also annihilated as a result of the attack.

Previously, the Russian Defense Ministry published a video of an Iskander missile strike on an S-300 of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Pokrovsk.

Subsequently, information stated that two Patriot air defense systems were annihilated during the missile strike, instead of the S-300 systems, as was initially reported.
