Cubans residing in Latin America reject the US blockade

Panama City, Mar 18 (Prensa Latina) The Network of Cuban Residents in Latin America and the Caribbean rejected today the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, which encourages actions against the internal order of the country.

A dispatch, issued by the organization and signed from Panama by its coordinator, Humberto Perez, states that the difficult situation Cuba is going through, due to very particular external and internal reasons, is above all due to the harsh economic war being waged against it, whose objective is to bend the sovereign will of an entire country to live in a different social project.

Regarding recent demonstrations encouraged from the US by terrorist groups to destabilize the country, he said that the Cuban people, generous, dedicated, sacrificed and full of love, only seek to coexist in peace and do not deserve this genocidal policy that for more than 60 years has been punishing them and making them suffer needs and massive, flagrant and systematic violation of their human rights.

“We are the majority who want peaceful coexistence and respect for Cuba, let’s not let a few who live on hatred and for hatred try to make us see that all of us who live outside are part of their army of disaffection,” the message circulating in social networks adds.

It also urges us to think and do something every day to support and free the Cuban people from the permanent war imposed by the northern neighbor, just for trying to maintain our sovereignty.
