The inquiries on attorney Luis Hermosilla’s cell phone have already led to the fall of the General Director of the Investigation Police (PDI) Sergio Muñoz as over 500 messages have been discovered between them, where the official revealed secret information about high impact incidents.

“To be honest, Hermosilla’s cell phone could be a pandora’s box,” Cordero assured.

In statements to Radio Infinita, the minister specified that the lawyer’s odds of professional contacts are many, he had his practice in criminal matters, and he was advising two administrations in a position that belongs to the Interior Ministry.

According to Cordero, plainly some of the defendant’s telephone conversations can be completely improper, excesses of confidence, and others genuinely turn out to be crimes.

Indeed, on the communication between Hermosilla and the former head of the PDI, there is a leak of documents about the case of the purchase and sale of the Dominga Mining Company, conducted in a tax haven, which benefited former President Sebastian Piñera and his family.

Lately, the Government Spokeswoman Minister Camila Vallejo referred to the feasible existence of a corruption network organized to hinder the investigative work of the Prosecutor’s Office in different corruption-related cases.
