Palestine condemns Israeli measures against UNRWA and Gaza residents

Ramallah, Mar 25 (Prensa Latina) The Palestinian Government condemned on Monday Israel's decision to prevent the transfer of humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip, where a severe humanitarian crisis is reported due to the lack of food and medicine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates criticized in a statement the attitude of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, which it described as extremely dangerous because it will exacerbate the famine and the death of the people there.

It is clear that the occupation authorities are actively attacking the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), the document denounced.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed that the aim is to destroy the UN agency, kill its staff, and put it out of action as part of a plan to change the Gaza Strip’s identity.

Given this situation, the Ministry called on the international community, especially the United States, to stop what it described as a dangerous Israeli decision.
