Multilateralism and diplomacy of peace are key for ALBA-TCP

Caracas, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz Canel praised on Wednesday the 23rd ALBA-TCP Summit on the International Day of Multilateralism and Peace Diplomacy, concepts he considered key for the regional integration mechanism.

On X, Diaz-Canel shared images of his wecoming ceremony at the Miraflores Palace, where the Summit will take place.

The Prime Ministers of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne; St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves; Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit; St. Lucia, Phillip J. Pierre; the Foreign Minister of Grenada, Joseph Andall; and the Ambassador of St. Kitts and Nevis in Caracas, Norgen Wilson, will also attend the meeting.

Regarding the Summit, the Cuban leader posted on X that they agreed upon challenges and efforts being made to guarantee sustainable economic development with cooperation and solidarity.

The meeting is expected to debate on and approve the Strategic Agenda 2030, announced by Arreaza to delegates at that meeting, and the plan has five items: economic, political, social, cultural and communicational to be tackled.
