Upon arriving at Havana’s José Martí International Airport, he was welcomed by the vice president of the National People’s Power Assembly and the Council of State, Ana María Mari Machado.

The visitor, who is heading a Turkish parliamentary delegation, will hold talks with Lazo and other officials in Havana, visit places of historic and cultural interest, and take part in other events.

The delegation of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye also includes lawmakers Murat Emir, Filiz Kiliç, and Selman Özboyaci, chairman of the Cuba-Türkiye Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Ahmet Gökhan Sariçam, among other directors and officials from the legislative body.
