Central African Republic could negotiate Russian oil imports

Bangui, Jun 5 (Prensa Latina) The Central African Republic could negotiate the supply of Russian oil at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), it was known here.

According to the Russian ambassador to this African country, Alexandr Bikantov, it is not ruled out that the Central African delegation will discuss this issue at the meetings on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, ongoing from June 5 to 8.

Speaking to Sputnik, Bikantov stressed that the fuel market in the Central African Republic is complicated in the context of the transfer of assets of some foreign companies.

The ambassador noted that the African country considers Russia a prospective partner that could participate in field research and mining.

The Central African country has significant deposits of graphite, lithium and coltan, valuable resources for the electronics industry and in which Russia could participate for their extraction and processing, the diplomat stressed.
