Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian stated that Washington is once again generalizing the concept of national security and resorting to export controls and abusive extraterritorial jurisdiction.
Lin added that this practice includes an unjustified blockade against Chinese chip products and artificial intelligence (AI) industries, which severely violates market rules and affects the stability of global production and supply chains.
The spokesperson noted that this policy also harms the legitimate rights of China’s enterprises and underscored that Beijing will not accept such actions under any circumstances.
He indicated that the United States persists in protectionist practices and its unilateral use of coercive measures against Chinese technology companies.
Lin warned that this kind of attitude undermines international cooperation in technology and hinders global progress in key sectors such as AI.
