Prime Minister to launch new development projects in India

India, May 20 (Prensa Latina) The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, announced that he will launch multiple development projects valued at 26 billion rupees (about 304 million dollars) in the city of Bikaner, Rajasthan province.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, the initiatives will kick off next Thursday and will play a vital role in improving the rail, road, power, water, new and renewable energy sectors.

During his visit to Rajasthan, Modi will inaugurate 103 refurbished stations in 86 districts in 18 states of the territory; he will also inaugurate the Bikaner-Bombay express train.

More than 1,300 stations are being refurbished with modern facilities designed to showcase regional architecture and improve passenger amenities under the Amrit Bharat Station Project.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Churu-Sadulpur railway line and dedicate the electrification projects of Suratgarh-Phalodi, Phulera-Degana, Udaipur-Himmatnagar, Phalodi-Jaisalmer and Samdari-Barmer lines to the nation.
