The Iranian official stressed that “talking about zero enrichment is an illusion that primarily serves the Zionist entity (Israel).”
Eslami noted that the radiopharmaceuticals produced in the country using nuclear technologies are comparable to their counterparts in developed nations and are used in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
On a technical level, the official explained that Iran has an atomic power plant in Bushehr with a capacity of 1,000 megawatts, which last year produced 7.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity.
He also revealed that the Islamic Republic intends to increase its nuclear capacity as part of the seventh development plan.
In this regard, he explained that nuclear capacity will reach 3,000 megawatts, as part of the national strategy to expand energy production.
Along the same lines, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Iran’s foreign policy is based on not submitting to foreign hegemony.
According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Tehran will not accept any demands to halt uranium enrichment.
