According to the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA)’s information, the spokesman stated that Ryzhenkov will hold several meetings, including some with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, during his stay in Moscow.
Regarding the upcoming contacts between the presidents of Belarus and Russia, Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, the diplomat emphasized that it is well known how often both statesmen communicate with each other, and it’s not just about bilateral visits, as there are many meetings in international forums and platforms in which both parties participate.
Varankov stressed that Putin and Lukashenko communicate frequently, and described it as a continuous, close, and truly brotherly work.
He added that the same occurs with the visits and contacts at other levels, such as that of prime ministers and heads of government agencies.
