The Prime Minister’s office informed that Mishra explained the country’s position while speaking at the 8th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
At the event, Mishra held productive talks with Norway’s Deputy Minister for International Development, Stine Renate Håheim, and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in disaster risk reduction.
He also participated in the opening ceremony of the platform, highlighting India’s proactive approach to disaster preparedness and resilience building, and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening partnerships for a safer future.
