The admission by Matthew Miller, former State Department spokesperson, regarding the crimes committed by Israel in Gaza represents a belated condemnation and recognition “of the complicity of former President Joe Biden’s administration in the genocide committed against our people,” the PFLP said in a statement.
The Front affirmed that the Biden administration provided political cover, military support, and legal legitimacy “to the Israeli killing machine,” making the White House “a direct partner in the bloodshed of thousands of innocent people.” “Biden and his Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, are war criminals who must be held accountable, along with the leaders of the Israeli occupiers,” it emphasized.
The organization noted that Miller’s statements, which completely contradict his positions while in office, reveal the extent of Washington’s complicity and deceit. While Miller was in office, he justified the massacres and promoted the false Israeli narrative.
Hamas echoed this sentiment, deeming the former official’s remarks “an important admission that condemns the occupation, confirms its crimes, and exposes the US administration’s attempts to lie about the brutal war against civilians in Gaza.” His statements demonstrate that he was not allowed to tell the truth while in office and was forced to follow the official US government narrative.
The admission not only condemns Israel but also holds Washington directly responsible as a real partner in war crimes and genocide in the coastal enclave, Hamas added.
