The minister told Kommersant newspaper that more than 100,000 in vitro fertilization procedures are currently performed each year at state expense, of which approximately 30 percent are successful.
These technologies are becoming “routine treatment methods,” Murashko stated.
He also noted that experts confirm the growing availability and effectiveness of this assisted reproduction method for infertility treatment.
At the same time, he confirmed that authorities must guarantee equitable access to high-tech care for all patients.
