According to the note from the military body, the agreement, signed on the Kazakh side by Colonel Yerbol Kumarbekuly, includes training and peacekeeping initiatives.
It is also stated that during the meeting the two sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and the prospects for development in the military sphere.
The key areas of Kazakh-British cooperation will be peacekeeping activities, language training and training of Kazakh military personnel in higher military educational institutions in the UK.
Earlier, a similar document was signed between the defense ministries of the two countries for the period 2022-2023.
In mid-May, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry also reported on a discussion of defense issues and joint participation in peacekeeping missions under the auspices of the UN, in which the Kazakh military has been involved since 2014.
