During his visit to France, Jaishankar will travel to Paris and Marseille for bilateral talks with his counterpart, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean Noël Barrot, the Foreign Ministry said.

The head of Indian diplomacy will also participate in the first Raisina Mediterranean talks, he will also meet with senior French leaders and interact with research centers and the media.

The Indian foreign minister will then travel to Brussels, Belgium, where he will hold strategic talks with the High Representative and Vice President of the European Union (EU), Kaja Kallas, and meet with leaders of the European Commission and the European Parliament.

During his visit to Belgium, the minister will hold bilateral talks with the European country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Maxime Prévot, and will meet with senior Belgian leaders; he will also interact with members of the Indian community in the nation.

The Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that the visit is expected to further deepen India’s friendly relations with the EU, France, and Belgium, giving renewed impetus to current cooperation in various areas.
