In an interview this Sunday with journalist Pavel Zarubin, the senior Russian official emphasized that such a tribunal should be organized following the example of the Nuremberg Tribunal and, possibly, become an international court with the participation of other states.
And, following the example of the Nuremberg Tribunal, hold them criminally accountable under international law and classify their crimes as crimes against peace, humanity, and war crimes, Bastrikin noted.
For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized that the Kyiv government’s attacks on Russian trains were deliberately authorized and classified as state terrorism.
It’s very difficult for such actions to be carried out without the consent and knowledge of the highest Ukrainian authorities, including President Vladimir Zelensky, Peskov noted.
