This time, the soldier was stationed at a British training camp in Laikipia County, in the center of the country, and was arrested and repatriated while the investigation keeps ongoing.

British soldiers stationed in Kenya have a long history of abusing and raping local women, murders, and other crimes committed during their stay in the country, especially in the regions of Laikipia, Isiolo, and Samburu.

The British Ministry of Defense confirmed the arrest of the soldier accused of raping a Kenyan woman, in an incident that that it seems to have happened last May.

According to official sources, some 200 British soldiers are permanently stationed in Kenya for training objective.
