According to the statement, on the economic and social front, Cambodia plans to suspend imports of Thai goods, replacing them with domestic or other ones.
In addition, the government will find new markets, both domestic and international, for agricultural products that its citizens used to export to Thailand.
In health care, patients who previously sought treatment in the neighboring country will be redirected to domestic hospitals or medical institutions in other countries.
They will also prepare to receive and manage employment opportunities for Cambodian workers who may return from Thailand, in the face of labor shortages in key sectors such as industry, agriculture and construction.
In terms of security, the Asian nation will put all its armed forces on high alert 24 hours a day, ready to respond and defend itself in case of any aggression.
