In a statement, the institution described the situation in Iran as highly volatile and warned of its possible and rapid worsening.
The institution stressed that the safety and welfare of Malaysian citizens are the top priority.
The ministry confirmed that all Malaysians registered at the Malaysian embassy in Tehran are safe and have been instructed to leave the country without delay.
The embassy will continue to provide the necessary consular assistance to facilitate their departure.
The conflict between Iran and Israel escalated last Friday following Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory, which reportedly killed several senior military, scientific and civilian officials.
